Friday Sculpting Class - New classes beginning January 6, 2012
Just what you've been asking for! Muddy's Studio is offering a new and exciting classes in animal/figurative sculpture with instructor Jake Deardorff. Jake is a master at sculpting animals that range from realistic to the fantastic.
Class includes instruction, clay, tools, glaze and firing. Ages 10 and up - all skill levels welcome.
Fee: $110.00 (per session)

Kids Clay Classes
Muddy's Studio now offers a popular Saturday ceramic class for children ages 9 through 12. The class will focus on beginning wheel throwing and basic hand building techniques. 
Fee: $100.00 (per session) Clay is available for purchase - $10.00 per bag.

All Levels - Beginning to Advanced Ceramics

Adult Hand Building & Wheel Throwing Classes
Classes at Muddy’s Studio are designed for all skill levels. Whether you are a beginning student who would like to learn the basic skills needed to create successful ceramics, or a more advanced artist who would like to improve their throwing or decorating techniques. Ask your instructor about optional Saturday studio time, available to our students.

Class fee includes instruction and all firing for beginners. Advanced students will have the equivalent of one kiln shelf of bisque and one kiln shelf of glaze firing per session. Clay and additional firing space may be purchased.
*Teens 12 yrs and older may enroll with parent.
Fee: $100.00 per 4 week session, $125.00 per 5 week session.
Clay is available for purchase - $10.00 per bag.

Optional studio time:
$50. 00 (plus firing fee) for 4 Saturdays (1:00 to 4:00) consecutive with class.

Private/Semi-Private Lessons
Are you looking for a new way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or romancing a date? Come to Muddy's Studio for a private or semi-private lesson in wheel throwing or clay sculpture/hand building. Muddy's Studio will provide you with an exceptional and unique artistic experience that is fun for everyone.

Kevin A. Myers has been a ceramic artist for over thirty years. With his guidance, you can create a beautiful hand built sculpture or sit down and learn the basics to wheel throwing. Kevin will encourage each student to create a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Classes include as much clay as the student needs (up to one 25 lb bag), tools, aprons, instruction, equipment, firing and glaze application. After the lesson is over you may stay and use the studio for another one and one half hours to practice your new skills.

Private Lesson: $150. per lesson
Semi or Group Lesson: $80. per lesson, per person
