Muddy’s Studio
Muddy’s Studio was built with the ceramic artist in mind. We wanted to design a project space where artist have the opportunity to experiment and expand their ideas. A unique feature of the studio is that it was designed to be modular. Artists needing space for that special project may be accommodated. There are lockers available as well.

Equipment
We started by hiring a master craftsman to build beautiful hand crafted worktables, wheel tables and a wedging table. There are 12 Pacifica wheels, a 36-inch slab roller, an extruder, a spray booth and a large assortment of common potter's tools to borrow.

Kilns
We have installed a new 24 cubic foot Geil Kiln along with a shuttle kiln. The shuttle kiln is perfect for tile, figurative sculpture, large pots and large sculptural forms. There are four electric kilns and one raku kiln.

Glazes
Members will also find a complete glaze calculation area. Muddy’s Studio offers a full palette of studio glazes ranging from cone 04 to cone 10, however any temperature range is possible.

Clays
Muddy's carries a selection of popular clay bodies from Laguna Clay Company. It's a great chance to try a new clay body or purchase clay when other sources are closed. Please phone first to check which clays are available, selection may change at anytime. Price is $10.00 for 25 lbs of cone 10 clay.
